Grants available for scholars working on Islam or Arabic

The Juynboll Foundation and the Foundation Stichting Oosters Instituut offer subsidies to scholars in the field of Islam and Arabic. The applicant for a subsidy should have completed his/her academic education (MA degree at least). The Juynboll Foundation aims to promote the study of Arabic and Islam within the University of Leiden, by offering financial support to scholars. The Foundation Oosters Instituut aims to promote the study of Islam, Arabic, and Indonesia, by providing subsidies to academics with a clear link to Dutch scientific or academic activities.

The next deadline for applications is 25 April 2020.
